There are little complimentary snacks served throughout the day (quesadilla bites, brownies, fruit popsicles, fruit skewers) and the waiters are very attentive and fast. Soooo it is always beautiful! The pools are clean and expansive and wonderful and that is where we spend most of the time. The beach is white sand and immaculate they are always raking away the seaweed as it washes up. There is simply no way! (I am also 100% sure I am missing many things on this list.) Let’s talk about why you’re here though. I could never try everything here in my 8 days of breakfasts. Granola/seeds/fruit/yogurt bar, waffles/pancakes bar, 20 kinds of pastries/breads, overflowing fruit bar, meats and cheeses bar, some sort of seafood bar, soups, eggs, every meat and potato you could wish for, made-to-order omelettes, breakfast tacos, all the toppings and salsas, orange juice TO DIE FOR. Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas included, and every fruit you can imagine available to be made into a smoothie right in front of you. Buffet breakfast (included with Costco package) at Vino Del Mar is the most ridiculous menagerie of wonderful goodness that you will ever see in your life. Fish (or shrimp)Tacos at Isla Contoy, 10/10. (Remember, we’ve been here twice now and gotten to try a lot of it). Just be a normal human being and don’t cook hotdogs in your room and you’ll be fine. □□♀️ You can pop over to the market across the street and buy chips and soda and the like. man if you are on vacation just be on vacation. It’s simply a rule that is designed and intended to keep people from, like, cooking on hot plates and small grills and using toasters and dumb stuff like that IN THE HOTEL ROOMS. Also, they have you sign something that says “no outside food”. We signed up last year (it’s free) and here we are back for a second year and could use it easily. Do yourself a favor and sign up for Fiesta Rewards to waive your daily $25 “resort fee”. There is also a keypad box for your valuables. The AC works well, water pressure is excellent, and the views are gorgeous (duh). The rooms are clean, the bed is very comfy (I like a very soft bed) and everything is very clean. there is so much more but it would take a novel to write! (But you’ll see. Every detail has been thought out and consummately taken care of from the constant cleaning to the turn down service to washing your feet of sand on the way in to every door being opened. Every interaction is met with “it’s a pleasure” or “thank you” something that has all but been lost in US customer service. The people who work here are all amazing and the service is out-of-this-world. We used the Costco Travel package to come here because it is far less expensive than booking through other travel sites/FA website. Why, oh why have I not written a review for FAGCB yet?!
